Unit Spreadsheet Guide

The spreadsheet has been updated for version 2 of the FRAD Guide and includes a useful way to see which units are available to each army.

In addition to the usual unit statistics (like Strength, Hits, etc.) there is a column for each army.

The key is:

B = Base unit
F = Free choice
P = Use in Regulars at a point penalty, use in Ally or Mercenary slots at no penalty
X = Not allowed

So looking at the example extract from the spreadsheet shown above, you can see that if I had chosen Undead as my army type then I would be able to choose:

Base units (4 of which must be included in the Regular slots)

Skeletons
Spectres

Free choice units

Plague Carriers
Red Dragons
Rock Elementals
Siege Engines

'Penalty point units' (can be used freely in Ally or Merc slots but at a 100 point penalty in Regular slots).

Pikemen
Reavers
Scouts
Slayer Knights

Units which are not allowed

Silver Dragons

Top Tip!

To quickly find out which units are available to the army type you are considering sort the spreadsheet like this:

Click the 'Name Box' (top left of Excel just below the Font Selector)

Choose 'Sort_area'

From the Data menu choose Sort.

Choose the criteria you wish to sort on. i.e. Choose 'Good Human' and 'ascending' to create a list of units for Good Humans.

The spreadsheet will then be re-sorted with the chosen races Base units followed by the Free choice units, the Penalty units and lastly the not allowed units.

Now it is simple to see which units are available to choose from!
