How to set up an e-mail game

Summary

These are the steps to take:

  1. Make a Random map. Do this several times until you get a map you are happy with.
  2. Set up the game.
  3. e-mail turn 1 to player 1.

It is also possible to edit the map you create using the 'Scenario Editor' but this makes things more complicated!

Procedure

1.    Make a Random map

From the main menu (shown below) choose 'Random Map'

Change the name from 'Random' to another name, for example: Efreeti1

Set up the map as you see fit!

Click 'Begin'. At this point the map is created and saved into the New Scenarios list under 'Random' so that you can make a game based on the map. To do this choose 'New Scenario', 'Random', then pick the map name e.g. Efreeti1

Do this Several times until you have a map that you are happy with!

2.    Set up the game

Choose the setting from the options. Here is a list of all the main options. This was taken from a Word document I found on the web. Click here for the Word document.
