Unzip and Unpack the Scenario

If you fail to do this stage then when you try to play your turn the computer will appear to load the turn but it will then boot you out after a fraction of a second.

1. Unzip the packed scenario file to the Darklords folder (where Darklord.exe and war3ed.exe are) by default this is:

C:\Program Files\Red Orb Entertainment\Warlords III - Darklords Rising\

2. Run the scenario editor (war3ed.exe), Start - Red Orb Ents. - Warlords III - Darklords Rising Scenario Editor.

3. Choose Unpack Scenario.

4. Click on the scenario name (eg. splund7.w3s) and make sure auto-overwrite is enabled for all items (this may not appear - don't worry!).

5. It should say Success. Exit the Scenario Editor. That's it!
